Jackfruit is considered a new discovery in the food segment when it comes to meat substitutes. The largest tree fruit in the world is almost indistinguishable from tender poultry in its unripe form in terms of consistency and texture and, thanks to its good nutritional values, is ideal for a vegan, low-calorie, low-fat diet. Due to its meat-like texture and mild flavor, it can be refined with spices and oils as desired and is the perfect base for all types of curries or for wok and pan-fried dishes.

Drain the jackfruit flesh well, season as desired and marinate with 2 tablespoons of oil for 10-15 minutes. Then fry the jackfruit in the pan for at least 4 to 5 minutes until it is browned to the desired degree and continue processing according to the recipe.
