Ingredients for 10 Börek snails:
✓ 1 roll of filo pastry
✓ 50g Lotao Veggie Mince
✓ 1 small onion
✓ 1 clove of garlic
✓ Salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, paprika powder
✓ 2 tbsp tomato paste
✓ 5 tbsp soy milk
✓ 2 tbsp margarine
✓ Black cumin
✓ vegan yoghurt
Preparation:
- Prepare the minced meat according to the instructions on the package.
- Fry the onion and garlic in a pan with a little oil, add the minced meat and fry.
- Season the minced meat mixture with salt, pepper, chili, cumin, paprika powder and tomato paste and fry everything for about 5 minutes.
- Melt the margarine and mix with the milk.
- Roll out a sheet of filo dough, spread some of the milk-margarine mixture on it and put some of the minced meat mixture on the bottom of the dough. First roll the dough up from bottom to top and then shape it into a snail shape.
- Repeat with the remaining sheets of filo pastry.
- Place the snails on a baking tray lined with baking paper, brush again with the milk mixture, spread the black cumin on top and bake the snails at 190 degrees for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve with vegan yoghurt.
